Yoga can increase cyclists flexibility, reduce stiffness, improve muscle recovery, strengthen and tone muscles not used in cycling and reduce stress.
Equipment needed: yoga mat, or towel.
We ride as a group for one to one and 1/2 hours on the road (10%) and on safe, paved beachside trails (90%). We ride approx. 10-15 miles per session based on length of ired for each session.
Equipment needed: Road bike, helmet and energy.
At Cycling+Yoga, we combine the energy, focus and cardio exercise of outdoor road cycling with the relaxation and flexibility of yoga. This FUN of group exercise is enhanced by the visual beauty and sounds of the Pacific Ocean.
