  • Always look behind you before you turn, overtake or stop
  • Leave at least two/three bicycle lengths between you and the rider in front of you
  • It's always the rider behinds responsibility to be aware of stopping riders in front
  • Communicate while passing with indication of which side you are coming up on riders in front of you
  • Use arm signals before you turn right or left
  • Obey traffic lights and road signs/we will be stopping at red lights
  • On busy or narrow roads/paths, cycle single file
  • Never use a mobile phone while cycling
